Location was excellent. Very close to the Old Mill area for restaurants and nice shops.
(Although road noice from busy road below was bad.)
This cabin is a duplex, not an individual unit. I liked that the master bedroom (2nd floor) and the other bedroom (basement) were separated by the main floor. I think it’s weird that the giant jet tubs are in the middle of the rooms, when you have a hot tub, but to each its own. The bathrooms and showers are teeny tiny, but worked fine. My biggest frustration was the poor quality of the towels. Sooo this and scratchy. Spend some money on better towels!!! Took awhile to find the switch for the overhead kitchen light…in the main room. The hot tub was out of service, which was not divulged until the day of arrival. Bummer. The log walls, in the master bath, above the shower, need some serious dusting and cobweb cleaning. The blinds do, too. There are (coffee?) stains splattered all over the blind, near the master toilet. Tried to wipe them off, but they are sadly permanent stains. Looks gross. The master bed is not very comfy and makes a lot of noise when you move on it. Lower bed was very comfy as it is a temperpedic! There needs to be some supplies left in the kitchen for everyone like sugar packets and salt and pepper. Thank goodness there were coffee filters. All in all we had a nice stay.
