Every essential element of a memorable Smoky Mountain getaway awaits at Moonshiner's Hideout, a hillside log cabin tucked away among the trees in Pigeon Forge. You can hike, fish, shop, and explore Dollywood by day, and return home each evening to a private hot tub, a firepit, and gas fireplaces both inside and out.

The living space is as charming as the log cabin exterior, offering natural wood from top to bottom and such at-home comforts as central air conditioning, free WiFi, and a washer/dryer for all of your laundry needs. The living room is anchored by a gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV mounted to the stone hearth, while the kitchen offers slate-colored cabinetry, black appliances, and an eat-in table. Just outside, you can soak away any lingering stress in the hot tub and keep warm afterward in the soft glow of the second gas fireplace on the screened porch. There's even a firepit encircled by Adirondack chairs outside for stargazing sessions with s'mores and ghost stories.

Overall the cabin was great! I would suggest that the owners invest in a bigger bed for the master and some new towels/linens.

Fantastic cabin in the woods!

This property was exactly what we wanted. Very clean and nicely furnished. Kitchen had everything just being your groceries. The hot tub screened porch was excellent, front porch restful. The standing arcade game was fun! Check in and instructions were right on the mark. No issues at all. We will stay here again!

lovely place

place is absolutely beautiful, cabin is beautiful too. the only draw back is the driveway, I thought we were gonna have to put it in 4 wheel drive to make it around the bend into the cabin. driveway does need to be fixed.

Very clean little cabin. Well kept. Good location. Hot tub and fireplace were great. Shower needs a place to hold soap shampoo and such and water (sulfur) smell was pretty strong. Overall great! VRBO however is almost worthless. Dennis was great to answer questions when Expedia & VRBO dropped the ball.

We loved the cabin and all the holiday decorations! The kids loved the icade and the upstairs loft. The location of the cabin is very convenient. The owners did an amazing job communicating important information. We would definitely rent this property again!

Great rental and located in perfect place. Only 3 miles from Dollywood, 1 mile from Pidgeon Forge, and a quick drive to Gatlinburg and the Smokies. Super cute home with everything you need.

We loved this cabin!!

We loved our stay. We loved everything about it! We really enjoyed the video games on the console and the outdoor fireplace! That was an huge plus. The ONLY thing we’d change is the bed - make it a king instead of a queen and also a different bed frame — the bed is SUPER noisy! Each little movement wakes you up. But overall, that’s all I’d change! We loved this place and we’d definitely stay here again! The location is amazing.

Wonderful Cabin For Small Family

Four of us stayed at this cabin with our dog. The cabin was wonderfully decorated for Christmas, very clean, and had a nice fireplace and video arcade. Loft was good for the kids and having a dog kennel was great. Side deck with fireplace, tv, and hot tub was outstanding. Road to get to the cabin is steep with some sharp turns, but not too long. Really enjoyed this cabin for a family getaway.

Beautiful cabin, nice location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect for access to all the surrounding areas for sightseeing and entertainment. Only thing we struggled with was the drive up to the cabin and steep driveway was difficult to navigate with our motorcycle. No fault of the owner, just maybe not ideal if you have a motorcycle.

Long Weekend Getaway

The cabin was nice. The host was very attentive and replied promptly. We had everything we needed. Overall, the cleanliness was good. However, the floor needed swept better and the hot tub porch area could have been cleaner. The cushions on the patio furniture could use a good pressure wash. Location was not ideal as the road leading up the hill to the cabin was not in the best condition.

Great Cabin

Our stay was wonderful. Communication with the owner was very easy and they responded quickly. If you want to stay in this cabin make sure your vehicle has 4WD. The road to the cabin and the driveway are very steep and have very tight turns. Cabin is pet friendly which we loved but bear visitors are very common. Be careful when walking pets.
