"It is a lovely hotel. My partner works at Pimlico and the proximity to the track cannot be beat. Lots of dining options just outside the hotel doors. The beautiful room was wonderful break from sleeping in the jockeys room! "

"Everything is in the general vicinity which is great for a non-driver like me. Good assortment of shops and restaurants around. This is one of my favorite locations to come to when I travel to Baltimore, also very quick and easy checkin."

"I do not recommend staying at this hotel. A friend and I booked back in February we knew we were going to Moonrise Festival at Pimlico Race track. The room was dank, NO shower curtain!, the face of the A/C was ripped off the wall. The chair in the room was broken down. Honestly, it looks like the kind of place people go to die. It was just gross, gross, GROSS. "

"We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Wilson House. Clelia was a gracious host. The location was close to everything we wanted to see; we had a rental car but it also seems there are plenty of public transportation options available nearby. We never had an issue finding parking leas than a block away from the house. We stayed in the purple room (note it is on the third floor upstairs) and it was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area. Thank you! "

"The hotel was within walking distance of the concert venue. I was able to walk to public transportation and restaurants. The hotel provided breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was a good price for the amount of time that I needed to stay. La Quinta has earned a returning customer."

"It was good. The room was on the first floor and had everything we needed except internet. I tried and tried but couldn't get online at Red Roof. There was a shooting the first night with cops all over the hotel. Made the news the next morning that two people were shot. That was the first night, the other two nights were unexceptional. We will come back again next year for the same craft show."

"Hostel-type setting with shared bathrooms down the hall. Historic building with very narrow, steep stairways (pretty interesting, actually). Comfortable bed, good location for B&O Railroad Museum and several other sights. Decent budget-friendly stay."
