Arrived at 5:40 pm. Front door locked. Had to call a number to get it opened. 1st room smelled of smoke. Had to go back for a new one. Room was satisfactory. However front door stuck when opened and we had to pull it to close. Breakfast was good ut though there were tea bags, you had to make the water to get it hot.

When I booked the room I requested wheelchair accessible. It was accessible with the wheelchair but the bathroom was not. The staff was helpful. But the ice machine was broken and the room had a weird smell.

Our room was a 2-queen room with a pull-out sofa for 5 people; it only had towels for 2. There was a beetle (I hope) in the bathtub. The shower handle didn't really work, and the bathroom was sooooo tiny. The beds were super firm. The common areas (stairs etc.) were filthy. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the linens we DID have were clean, if scratchy.

I would never stay at this property again. The only nice thing I can say is that the staff were very friendly an helpful. The property is aging and badly in need of repairs. Never saw any live roaches but I did see roach body parts on the floor. The air conditioner in my room was broken so the staff were quick to get me moved; the front door to the new room had been damaged (like someone had tried to break in and it was never properly repaired) so it was a fight to open and shut it. Both rooms I stayed in had moisture problems; even with the AC and the bathroom exhaust fan constantly running, the tiled areas were always wet and slippery and clothes I laid out the night before were damp in the morning. Evidence of black mold on the bathroom door frame. Bubbling paint, old plaster. Insufficient lighting in the sink/mirror area made it tough to shave properly. Horizontal surfaces were clean but they were wet like a disinfectant had been sprayed on them and not wiped up. The scrambled eggs were sitting in an inch of water which is really gross. No bottled water available. One morning another guest reported that the sausage patties were put out late so they were still frozen.
