"Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient at check in. Only one elevator of two working most of the time during our 3 day stay so slow. Room looks very nice. Our issues: Intermittant noise coming from what seemed to be a pipe with a wall not far from the bed. The first night I only got 2 1/2 hours of sleep partly because of this noise. Every morning housekeeping would forcefully try to open our door without announcing themselves and then just leave and never return. When I tried to take a shower, I discovered tge shower gel dispenser eas empty. I had to get out of the shower and get the hand soap from the sink to use. The towels literally felt like sandpaper when drying. After tge shower and dressing, I was able to locate housekerping in the hall to refill the shower gel. She said our room was marked as "out". Does that mean they thought no one was staying in it? Why did they try to come in every morning with no discussion as to when we would be out of the room? The building and rooms all look nice and well maintained but we will chose another hitel next time we are in Bend. Too many things that shouldn't be for the price we paid."

"We had a very nice stay at this property. It was nice and spacious and a nice layout. The host was very responsive with any concerns and was also quick to reply to my requests on "local" restaurants that we could visit. We go to Bend/Sunriver at least twice a year and this was a very pleasant stay."

"I am a repeated traveler. I love this place since I was a young lady. Now I am close to retiring and enjoyed staying in our 2 room condo with family. If you have troubles climbing stairs, make sure you ask for a bottom unit. No elevators. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. Our room is or was big enough for three adults. "

"What you don't know when booking with Expedia is the quality of the unit/room the resort will put you in. Because you don't book directly and through a second/third party you don't get what other guest receive when booking directly with the resort. They put us up in a "privately owned" room which was part of the "200" units. So the room or rooms will only be updated upon the owners responsibility. The room we stayed in smelled extremely bad, like a very old motel room. The carpet was so old, contributing to the smell. The handle on the bathroom faucet broke as soon as I turned on the water, the shower spout was broke so water was coming out all over. The fire place didn't work, so once the maintenance came to fix everything, though he couldn't work on the fireplace to get it fixed, by that night the room smelled like gas...so luckily my husband was able to turn off the gas to the fireplace. The TV was being pirated by someone so as we were watching a program it would all of sudden turn to Youtube, etc. we could see the name of the person and what they were watching. So we had to unplug everything and start over. This happened continually. We were so disappointed as this was the start of our 40th wedding anniversary trip. We have been to Sunriver probably over 15 times in our marriage and always loved it. The last time we stayed was at the resort, in a room by the river and the amenities in the room were amazing, NOT this time, not the same even in the room. SAD"
