Rhinecliff Hotel

"The Rhinecliff Hotel is a classic Hudson Valley lodging that had been closed but is now being renovated and modernized. Every room has a balcony with a river view. The rooms are large, pleasant and well appointed and even include Jacuzzi baths. Parts of the hotel remain out of service while the renovation continues, but this didn't constitute a problem. There isn't a registration staff on duty - check-in takes place via an online app - but management responds quickly to texts. The hotel is right next door to the Rhinecliff Amtrak station so it can easily be reached by train. One issue is that trains pass at all hours of the day, but we didn't find the noise to be disruptive. (The hotel does provide excellent ear plugs, just in case.) All-in-all it's quite a good value for the area."

"The property was well-maintained. The pool was wonderful. The breakfast was good and so convenient when you are traveling for the day. My only criticism would be that there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom."

"The Harlow House is a unique, modern hotel. The room was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. We really enjoyed the king bed and spacious bathroom. Air conditioning worked great and kept us comfortable. Check in was easy. The owner was attentive and quick to respond. The hotel is stunning, situated in the middle of the woods on a quiet, and well kept plot of land. We awoke to a serene setting featuring a family of deer grazing in the nearby woods. It’s only a few minutes drive to Rhinebeck and a few minutes off the Taconic Pkwy. I hope to visit here again one day."

"Great hotel and staff. Restaurant has great food. Spa is wonderful. Everything so clean. Better than the Breakers in Palm Beach! Location is right in town. 5 stars all the way!"
