Familieweekend gepland voor de 86e verjaardag van onze moeder, oma en overgrootmoeder! Iedereen heeft kunnen regelen om er bij te kunnen zijn, totaal 37 mensen. Maar onze moeder werd ziek, rond kerst, maar annuleren van het weekend mocht niet, want ze zou best wel weer opknappen. En dat bleef ze volhouden, maar ook toen allang duidelijk was dat ze niet zou opknappen, moesten we beloven om toch te gaan met zijn allen. Ze overleed ruim een week voor haar verjaardag en twee dagen voor het weekend hebben we haar gecremeerd..... Annuleren hoefden we voor het geld niet meer te doen en met lood in de schoenen zijn we toch maar op weekend gegaan. En het was heel prettig om met zijn allen in een heerlijk ruim huis met enorm veel speelgelegenheid voor de kleintjes, ons verdriet te delen en toch een beetje haar verjaardag te vieren.

We hebben een leuke midweek gehad. Veel mogelijkheden aanwezig, zowel intern als naar buiten. 's winters wat minder buiten maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. We hadden een familie bijeenkomst, verschillende gezinnen kwamen en gingen, dat kan allemaal perfect, mogelijkheden genoeg. De indeling is niet bepaald standaard, dus spannend en verassend.

De Welstand was het perfecte huis voor onze familie met een grote zaal om gezamenlijk te eten en voldoende slaapkamers. De keuken is heerlijk groot maar niet erg handig ingericht. Fijn dat er op meerdere plaatsen een plek is om buiten te zitten. De hottub was een feestje. We hebben een mooie wandeling naar de Waddenzee gemaakt en een boottocht naar de zeehonden. De huiseigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aanbevelingswaardig..
