"We loved this beautiful home! We have stayed in many rentals over the years and this one provided everything we needed and more. It's a lovely historic property with a charming country feel yet is updated. The kitchen has upgraded appliances (with a new dishwasher coming soon). They literally provide almost anything you might need, and it's all conveniently labeled. Elena was very responsive and accommodating. Danny, the local caretaker, is a real gem. He provided firewood and starters for the fire pit, came to check on us after a big storm with a power outage, and replaced the batteries in the chirping smoke alarm. Our grandkids loved playing outside in the fenced yard and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It's just a 15-20 min drive to Sperryville, a little longer to the park entrance. Overall, a great location and a fantastic stay. I can't say enough good things about this property--we hope to return again."

"We loved everything about this charming cottage and were sad to leave. It’s very close to Shenandoah National Park and there are lots of materials at the cottage with suggestions for hikes and other outings. The cottage is the perfect peaceful spot after a long day of hiking. We highly recommend it!"

"The place was just as described. It was nice and secluded away from the business of town but yet conveniently located for attractions. The owner was quick and responsive to any questions asked and was very accommodating to the early checkin time I asked for a couple days out. No issues wpuld stay again if in area"
