"Peaceful location with a beautiful view of the river. We even saw a wombat in the front yard one evening!The house was warm, we only used the reserve cycle. The showers were great. Beds were ok. There was 6 of us who stayed and there wasn't quite enough room for all of us to watch TV in the sitting room, although we did fit some beanbags in the attached studio.Overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you."

"Hygge House was everything it promised and more. Beautiful interior designed for cozyness and comfort with a wood stove for the chilly evenings. Extremely well stocked kitchen with every appliance, dish, and amenity you could wish for and a wonderful large dining table, perfect for our group of eight. Bedrooms/bathrooms all spacious and very comfortable.Gardens are beautiful and we loved seeing kangaroos lying/hopping around right outside the window.The township is an easy walk from the house with plenty on offer in cafes and cute boutique stores.We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and only wished we had booked a few more nights. Hygge House is incredible value for the price."

"Very cute and perfect size for a weekend away. Only just out of town by car. The DVD collection was huge! And the small kitchen area had everything we needed, with a BBQ and fire pit outside. That and the reverse cycle kept us warm. We’d definitely stay again."

"Idyllic country outlook from this cute little cottage. There was a huge kangaroo standing erect in the driveway to welcome us to Kangaroo Valley yet we were only just off the highway. The bath is luxurious, the fire (with all wood provided) is romantic and the huge bed is like sleeping on a cloud. I will definitely be back."

"Great location and amenities. Outdoor bath area had a lot of cobwebs. Poor communication regarding windows not being able to be opened. There should be more specific info about each accommodation in the welcome pack and options to contact the owner directly given this was the weekend and the office was closed. "
