"It was an honour to stay in this beautiful family home with such heritage and history. Full of memories and links to the past this is a very special place. As a multigenerational family we all loved the peace and beauty of Castello Claves. We were welcomed like family and enjoyed a reunion in this very special place. The pool and gardens are beautiful with masses of wild life. The castle is beyond words. With the sea to the from and Mt Etna behind you this wonderful oasis is everything you could want and more."

"Our stay at Villa Etnamare was absolutely wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, but the real highlight is the breathtaking view of Mount Etna. Watching the volcano from the terrace, especially as it became active, was an unforgettable experience.What really made our stay exceptional was our host, Nadia. The villa was built by her own father- this knowledge added to the privilege of our stay. During our holiday, a lightning strike caused electrical problems at Nadias own property, which also affected ours. Despite dealing with such a stressful situation herself, Nadia was incredibly responsive, kept us fully informed, and worked tirelessly to resolve everything as quickly as possible. Her kindness, communication, and genuine care for her guests were outstanding.Thank you, Nadia, for your hospitality and for making what could have been a difficult situation so manageable. Villa Etnamare gave us memories we'll treasure for years to come, and we would love to return"

"Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Klasse Swimmingpool und wunderschöne Außenanlagen. Das Haus ist klein aber vollkommen ausreichend zum schlafen und duschen. Wir waren begeistert von der Outdoorküche , dass war ein super Erlebnis. Wir haben den ganzen Tag draußen verbracht! Der Gastgeber ist einfach klasse, sehr zugewandt und hilfsbereit und sehr gastfreundschaftlich.Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Aufenthalt bei euch in Sizilien"

"Beautiful hotel set amongst stunning gardens and offering fabulous views of both sea and countryside. The hotel is well placed to visit Mount Etna. Varied breakfast was fresh and well presented. Staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The king classic room we booked was much smaller than we’d expected so hotel kindly relocated us to a superior panoramic room which was lovely. All in all this was an oasis to end our two weeks touring Sicily. Loved it."

"Il n'y a pas assez d'étoiles pour évaluer ce site. Si on pouvait, on en mettrait au moins 6. L'endroit est magnifique avec un environnement à couper le souffle, surtout sur la terrasse avec d'un côté la vue sur l'Etna et la plantation de citronniers, et de l'autre, la vue sur la mer. Que dire aussi de l'accueil de notre hôte. Un passionné qui ne tarit pas d'information. Grande chambre confortable et très propre. Petits déjeuners avec variété de choix. Seul bémol, pour certains, l'endroit est isolé et les déplacements se font en voiture."
