"Best Western Chocolate Lake was such a great place to stay. Let’s start with the lake in the rear of the property. Gorgeous and peaceful. Many guests went in with paddle boards or water loungers. Breakfast was hot and great. They also had to-go containers if you wanted to take breakfast with you. Parking was included as well. Our room was clean and they provided shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion. Staff was great, friendly and very helpful. It’s a 10 min. drive from the boardwalk and the price was great. Will definitely be returning."

"Super warm - no AC in the rooms, the sheets and blankets were a bit ratty. I would recommend bringing your own. There was a small fan in the room which i moved around to keep the air flowing. It was fairly clean but could’ve used a little more attention (i.e. random sticky substance on the floor of the room, shrimp rail just outside). It’s up a very big uphill climb lol. Vending machine had no water for the whole stay, but there was a brita jug in the shared kitchen."
