"Breakfast was great. Old smelly carpets in the hall and rooms. Need an update."

"Our recent stay was okay there was definitely room for improvement. We stay at this hotel as it is pet friendly and very accommodating. During this stay however we found the customer service lacking. On two occasions the hotel employees did not want to help us with requests. We asked for a fork and was told no forks and then we wasted water on our bed sheets and was told we have no comforters Definitely need to work on helping customers "

"Perfect for an overnight stay after a late arrival. Easy drive from Halifax Airport. Clean rooms, comfortable King size bed, friendly staff. Great value for the price!"

"Rooms were dirty. Found a used facecloth hanging on tub curtain rod. Face-clothes were stained… Property needs some love as it’s musty and outdated."

"Perfect stay. Lovely front desk staff, spacious clean modern rooms. Terrific breakfast with lots of choices. Ric does a great job making sure breakfast is well stocked and fresh. The La Rouge restaurant on site is a nice place to have dinner as well."

"What a hidden gem !!! This property is filled with surprises. We enjoyed sitting in the front living room after dinner in town. We had a glass of wine listening to Cat Stevens on the record player then snuck an ice cream sandwich from the freezer upstairs. Our room was stunning and filled with interesting details such as power set up for all our electronics, sound machine for sleep, comfortable bed, hot shower. Woke to breakfast in the hidden surprise of a dining hall. Perfect selection of foods ,hot coffee and pleasant chat with other guests...newcomers to Canada from Scotland. Drove away wishing we were staying longer."
