"OK, the hotel needs updating, but the staff was so friendly and helpful it didn't even matter. We parked our car, walked everywhere, 2 min to the Colonial theater! Insider tip, if you buy a breakfast tix from the front desk it's less $ than paying at the restaurant. "

"Very clean room, friendly staff, and a feeling of being in a “fancy” hotel while still being within budget. The location was great - I enjoyed walking around and felt safe after dark. Easy walking distance from the Colonial Theater. "

"Staff was very accommodating. Room was ok but toilet didn’t flush without the water constantly running. Shower gel, shampoo & condition bottles were all empty in the shower. Had to call for new ones. "

"Did not send check-in info via text, when I called they said they sent but never and resent, then gave me the wrong room. I booked double bed but got 1 king bed said double bed booking is not guaranteed and the rooms are sold out. However the worse part is the room is full of smoke smell so badly that seems to be a long term smoking room. We had to buy candles and fragrance spray from CVS but still don't help much. "

"What a wonderful winter getaway! Very responsive hosts, beautiful lake views, great proximity to Jiminy and Bosquet and plenty of space for two families of 4 and grandparents! Can’t wait to book again in the summer and enjoy the lake. They were kind enough to clear a rink on the ice but the kids were too tired after skiing to ice skate! "

"We stayed here while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The house was clean and exactly as shown in photos. Beds were comfortable. Communication with Rebecca was timely and friendly. House was perfect for my husband, me, and our 2 adult children, who could have their own beds. Only downside was one bathroom, but we knew that going in and were prepared to deal with it! It worked out fine with a little planning. "
