"The tour guides suggested by Tom were great. Snorkeling, Hiking, cave tubing, Mayan ruins - every experience was easily accesible from the home. Proximity to Palcencia was perfect- we took a golf cart into town each night for ice cream - a fun family excursion with teenagers. Truly a great home, great location, and a wonderful experience. "We stayed at Shadow Sands and it was more than we expected. There were 7 of us and there was more than enough room for us. We had such a great time and the staff went above and beyond. The food Cara made was amazing!!! Stop in at Omar’s for lobster and drinks. We enjoyed the appetizers and drinks at the Yacht Cub and shopping in Placencia was nice.
