"Charming place inside the walled area of the old city. The only problem was the “shower”. In a spacious bathroom there was only a tub with a hand held shower attachment. No mount for it and no tub surround , curtain or anything to keep water confined to the tub. We ended up just taking a bath in the tub, a risky enterprise for anyone for whom climbing in and out of a slippery tub is not easy. Or safe. "

"Les Charmettes was a treasure to find. Located on the waterfront/promenade with superb views and immediate access to a superb beach. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast (an extra charge but well worth it) was delightful. There is a small fee for parking on site but highly recommended. There is a bistro attached to the property and we had a very pleasant meal and had aperitifs overlooking the beach. We walked downtown to St. Malo proper for dinner one night…....

"Nice hotel but ban on motorbikes and scooters they failed to tell me about. Booked over a year in advance for secure parking of scooter. They failled to notify me that they wouldnt allow me to park there dispite there being suitable areas to do so. Bike racks and by a wall I was also prepared to pay for a car space.
