"Stayed in a beautiful room with views of the garden and pool. The room offered great comfort with a large bed and beautiful spa like bathroom with separate shower and double ended bath. Our hosts were kind and generous and provided a delicious varied breakfast each morning. Can’t rate our stay enough. "

"We had a lovely stay here, shared the two gites with another family. Garden was ideal with the kids and the pool was great and ideal with the fence around it. We had a bbq one night too.The location is very quiet and a small cycle to local beach or bakery in St Marie and about 15-20 mins to other nearby villages like St Martins which made exploring easy for the soutern end of the island. We rented bikes from beach bikes on a nearby campsite which is a 700 m walk away.Hosts were very friendly and accomodating once we arrived. Kitchen was clean and pretty well equipped. The gite was warm in the evenings and mosquitos prevented us from having the windows open which is something to consider. Hope to return again."

"Ile de Re is a great place to stay and there was plenty to do for 3 generations of the family (8 adults, 6 children). There is a free bus service around the island and there are lots of cycle routes.The villa is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, large communal areas and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space. We had excellent service from our rep Melanie; one of the sinks started to leak but it was repaired the same day.The pool has a shallow end, fine for 4-7 year olds to play and okay for adults to do a few (short) lengths. The local beach, 50m approx. has sand, stones and rock pools. Further up the coast are beaches for swimming and sailing. St Marie is quieter than other villages/towns but has an excellent bakery, restaurants, market and a supermarket."
