"We stayed with family (extended) and we had a grouping of three executive suites. All of our rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. There were robes for all adults. I loved the robe so much I purchased one from the gift shop to take home! The staff is extremely well trained in hospitality (something that seems to be a forgotten art these days). We were here during the holiday season and the grounds were absolutely GORGEOUS. Just a lovely stay. The only thing I am sad about is not being able to make a reservation for the afternoon tea during our stay. I do wish hotel guests would receive an option to book as they reserve rooms but other than that, a wonderful stay. Next time we are in SLC, we will be at the Grand America. Five Stars all around. "

"This was an exceptional stay with my family. The hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to the mall, ice skating, great eats, and more. The room we stayed in was large and had 2 queen beds, however it had zero storage. There’s a large dresser where the TV sits, but it has 3 tiny drawers and one large compartment, which for a family of 4 isn’t enough space so we lived out of our suitcases and left piles of clothes on the floor which isn’t how I like to keep my room. The nightstand is huge and looks like it has drawers, but it doesn’t. The Vault bar is a star with delicious drinks, great bartenders, and fun vibe. The restaurant next door had delicious food and we enjoyed breakfast there. Each morning we enjoyed coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. I look forward to going back. "
