"Do not laundry with this hotel My business attires sent for dry cleaning came back shrunk by more than 1 size, despite instruction for Dry Cleaning and asking the housekeeper if it is safe to dry clean. Hotel management says they try to help but no compensation has been offered. Worst check in experience with Front Office staff Valentina, and this has been my 10th time staying at hotel. Valerio who later took care of my check in was very attentive, professional and helpful, special mention that there are good staff too. "

"Breakfast was okay. We had 1 room with breakfast and 1 room without for some reason, and the hotel won't let us combine 3 days for 1 room into 1 day for 2 rooms. They also didn't mention the VIP perk until asked, and only provide one glass for each room after delivering the VIP perk (a bottle of wine). Bottled water was listed as complementary but never replaced. Overall you get what you paid for but not much of the hospitality. "

"I had an excellent experience at Hotel Calimala Milano. The location is perfect for exploring the city, the rooms are spotless, and the atmosphere feels both modern and welcoming. The staff truly made the stay exceptional—they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. I would absolutely stay here again."

"The location was good and a close walk to Milano Centrale train station. The lobby area of the hotel was good and newly refurbished but the rooms were much more run down. The room was very hot and it wasn’t even summer when I visited. The air con system is extremely outdated and didn’t do anything and windows only open a small amount so it was quite uncomfortable. The room was also very small, impossible to fit big luggage and two people. The bed was comfortable. "

"The staff on our arrival date, April 4, 2026, were rude and unprofessional. Marino, the receptionist on duty, was particularly unhelpful and discourteous. He did not answer our calls, and we had to carry our bags downstairs ourselves in order to request a room change, as the room had a queen bed despite our specific request for two single beds. When we explained that we had been unable to reach him because no one was answering, he simply responded that he was busy with other clients. The service that day was also very poor at the bar, and to make matters worse, only one elevator was working. Fortunately, the staff the following day were helpful and pleasant. I have stayed at this property multiple times before, which is why I was especially disappointed by the experience on the day of my arrival. Aside of that, the property is nice, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good."

"This was such an elegant and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location. The room we had was a king size. Felt very spacious. Everything about this hotel is designed for comfort, including a lounge in each floor with a fully equipped free fridge of soft drink and a coffee machine. The room fridge is also equipped daily and complimentary. Air con a great. It's the design that is so Milano, and really makes it feel incredibly impressive to stay. There is a €300 room deposit required, which I had not realised before we came but that was no problem and it is returned after a room check post check out. It was really the staff who made this such an enjoyable stay, so pleasant and professional, a special mention to Faith who was so helpful and friendly. I would absolutely return and stay here again.
