"The good- the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is top notch, with amazing views and plenty of comfortable beach loungers. We snorkeled at the beach and there was coral and fish very close by. We had fun during the day at the beach lounging, walking, swimming, and reading. The bad- upon arrival, they told us we needed to pay “the other half” of what we owed. We had already paid in full on hotels.com, though apparently this was a mistake, that was supposed to only be half the price....

"If you're visiting from far away like the United States or on a special trip, I'd recommend staying at the Blue Apple Beach Club instead. You don't want to cheap on the little stuff on a vacation. "This hotel is great. It's worth the price you pay for it. It met my expectations and goes beyond. The staff is very helpful and nice: Rafa, Leo, Fernanda, Fabiola, etc. The rooms are small but go with the echo friendly concept of the hotel. The delicious breakfast is included and in general, the kitchen or restaurant has a variety of dishes. The only dark spot is a nearby hooter making noise around 4:30 a.m. that could disrupts your rest and causes stress. After complaining to the management the noise got reduced from 10 to 7. I will defenetely stay there in the future."

"If you want a rustic experience, very Colombian style away from high end resort, stay here. We loved our stay- the rooms have portable ac units, expect not to experience luxury island style- the place is very nice designed but no special amenities. The pool is small and nice- because it’s small it doesn’t stay super clean until night time but it’s ok. The food was good. We enjoyed our stay."
