"A great place to stay. Nice little kitchenette and comfortable front porch! A nice pool with a great covered space to hang out at! Close to town and beaches. "
"Was tucked away on a side street that had someone follow us so be aware but other than that the property itself is safe and well kept. Had activities every night and had everything we needed. "
"Los Bungalows son bastante bonitos y la experiencia en general fue buena. Al llegar al lugar si fue un poco confuso porque no estábamos seguros de dónde estaban los bungalows, por suerte una persona de limpieza nos vio y nos ayudaron. La propiedad es muy linda y rodeada de árboles, si considero importante mencionar que para llegar a los bungalows hay que pasar por el área común de los voluntarios del centro de rescate"

"My partner and I (LGBTQ community) stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time! It was our anniversary and the staff helped me arrange a special cake from De Gustibus waiting in our room upon our arrival! It was so very special for us. The hotel was very walkable to the central part of Puerto Viejo and also very quiet neighborhood with it tucked back a bit. We did get woken up pretty early (5:30am) a few days of our stay because they serve breakfast starting at 7am and with it being designed as a horseshoe, we could hear the staff talking and utensils clinking as they started working. I think this place would be better off doing lunch/dinner instead of breakfast because of this reason. We booked the adult-only to hopefully have some late quiet mornings, but overall the quality of our stay was amazing and we would stay here again! "
"This was a good pic. One of the few hostels in front of the beach at Playa Cocles. Walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. Food was somewhat pricey, though. However, the room was clean and a good value for what we paid for."
"Beautiful resort style hotel in the middle of the jungle, yet close enough to restaurants in town and the beach.
It has its own private parking lot. Lobby is very nice and sheltered from the rain. Staff communicates everything you need to know and is very friendly. The welcome drinks were a nice touch.
The pool is beautiful and clean. The bar is spacious and it seems there is something for everyone, even the kiddos.
Our double twin room was spacious and clean. I only wish it had a bedside lamp and a table and chair in the room, but that's me just being nit picky.
Breakfast in the morning was great and staff was fun and helpful. I'll be returning."
"This place was amazing and exactly what we wanted. Quiet, right across from the beach and fairly priced! The food was great from the breakfast buffet to dinner as well as dessert! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area!"
"Physis had soo much character and Juliet was beyond helpful - a very graciously kind hostess.
It was such a relaxing and exotic place to stay as my introduction to Costa Rica!!
I highly recommend it!"

"The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it wasn’t allowing us to the stairs were a big issue. The host and owner were absolutely amazing, but the steps were an issue. "
