Playavera Hotel - Naturist Friendly

"We enjoyed our 6-night stay at this unique hotel and city. The hotel is somewhat dated, but they do a great job at keeping it clean. Our room was mopped and tidied every day (5 stars for that!). We opted only for the buffet breakfast, which was excellent - included an omelet station, fruits, fresh breads, cheeses, meats, any kind of coffee/espresso/cappuccino, prosecco, and more. Highly recommend taking this option. The hotel is right on the beach and there are several restaurant options on the beach and the street in front of the hotel...all are clothing optional. The hotel requires clothing between 8PM and 8AM...but I accessed the gym with no issues before 8AM. The gym is limited to one treadmill, so I had to get there early. The entertainment staff is terrific...great young kids. We recommend!"

"We loved our time here, it was the ideal location for us. The villa is part of a small complex with a shared pool in the centre. Around hald the villas were in use while were there; the other famililies staying there led to a very family friendly atmosphere with a mix of nationalities. You're also just a minute's walk from the beach. There was comfortably enough space for 5 of us (3 kids) across the three floors. The living space is small but not an issue as most of the time is spent outside. The roof terrace is a bonus at night when it was cool enough to be up there - great sea view too. There's a BBQ up there but I couldn't get that working (needed a good clean too). The property is really well equipped with everything you need, including the kitchen. The air conditioning in every room was a life saver! We left behind a parasol and a few pool inflatables that hopefully the next guests can make use of too. You're only 10 minutes drive away from a couple of small towns, several supermarkets, bars and restaurants and busier areas of beach life. Other than a couple of beach bars, you need a car to get around to these areas although there are local bus and taxi services. We'd recommend an evening drive up to Mojacar in the hills - a unique place with incredible sunset views. Overall a wonderful property, ideal for families looking for a welcoming place away from the nightlife in other towns. We would love to come again!"
