"The room was beautiful. I did kind of wish there was a microwave to heat up leftovers but we were able to warm them in a pan on the stove. There was construction going on in the complex which was a bit annoying at times. The hosts were amazing. And the pillows, they were the best pillows I’ve ever slept on. "We had an overall very good experience at Hotel Bosque del Mar. When we arrived, we decided we really wanted an oceanfront room, and since we were visiting during low season, the staff was very accommodating and helped us upgrade later that day. The upgraded room was beautiful, clean, and directly facing the ocean, with a lovely outdoor bathtub that made it feel extra special. The property itself is very peaceful, and the beach was definitely our favorite part. The sunsets here are absolutely gorgeous—we even had one evening where we could see a beautiful sunset and a rainbow at the same time. The beach was great for walking, and there were chairs available outside for hotel guests to relax and enjoy the view. We also enjoyed the second-floor area with the pool table, where we spent some time playing, having drinks, and relaxing. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and we also enjoyed an appetizer from the bar. The staff throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay, and we would recommend Hotel Bosque del Mar, especially if you are looking for a beachfront property where you can enjoy some truly beautiful Costa Rican sunsets."

"The hotel is located at a 3min walk from Playa Hermosa. The property is really well maintained and has all amenities. We booked the Jr. suite which was clean and kitchen fully stocked with appliances like a full size fridge, toaster, microwave, induction and a coffee maker. They also had cutlery stocked up in the cabinets which made it easier to use. The only hiccup we faced was the WiFi that didn't seem to work when we arrived in our first room but the staff was helpful and changed our room on request. The breakfast was filling and really tasty, as well as the service was really attentive. Thank you for a great stay experience. If you're planning to stay in Costa Rica for a long time, choose this hotel as it'll be easier for you to navigate. Thank you for the staff the check-in and check-out went smoothly."
