"First observation: this is not really a hotel, but is a bed&breakfast. There is no onsite restaurant where you could have lunch or dinner. Of course, the are plenty of very good options to eat just around the block (Tapas-bar Anita, Christian steakhouse, many small brunch places, ...). But if you arrive in the morning from an overnight flight or a cruise ship and need to wait for your room to be ready, you cannot simply have lunch in the hotel. Second observation: the location is PERFECT! You are a 15-25 minute (safe!) walk away from many of the major tourist sights (Sagrada Familia, Gothic quarter, Casa Batllo, ...). To get to Park Güell I would recommend to take an Uber. The harbor or the airport are also easily reachable with Uber, and the cost should be about €30-40, depending on the time of day, of course. Room decor is a matter of taste. I really loved the modern design; my wife did not like it as much. But our room was quite functional and spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. Room looked clean to me, but my wife noticed some dust on the nightstands. The check-in was very complicated. Yes, in most of Europe you need to present your passport at the check-in counter. But here they then gave me a QR code, which I had to scan with my iPhone and then tediously put in all of the passport details (via scan), address, phone number, email. These data are stored god-knows-where."

"This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Staff was Great! Amenities were Great! Location was Great! If you like to walk the Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Battlo, Barcelona Cathedral, La Ramba and the beach were all an easy walk. Ambiance was Great! It would've been hard to have been any better, I highly recommend Seventy Hotel!"

"There was a extremely disgusting carpet that was clearly dirty placed under the bed but other than that the room was perfect. The views from the hotel room are not worth this price though. All the views are bad and I paid an extra 54 eu for my room. They also charge you 10 eu per day per person for being a tourist. Completely rip off. Free water tho"

"I want to preface this review by saying that I have reached out to the hotel directly and they have yet to respond to me. On Sunday morning, I placed clothing into the provided laundry bag and completed the laundry form accordingly. When the staff member arrived, she already appeared visibly frustrated that we were still in the room getting ready for the day, which I did not appreciate. Later, I contacted reception to confirm that my laundry would be returned before my departure, and I was assured that I would receive it prior to checkout. I called again the following morning while preparing to leave for Italy, only to then be informed that my clothing had been discarded. While I appreciate the apology and the courtesy of waiving the late checkout fee, I am extremely frustrated by the situation. I still have an entire week remaining on my vacation and specifically needed those items cleaned for the remainder of my travels. Additionally, the pants that were discarded required alterations, so simply repurchasing the same item is neither practical nor immediate. I hope that providing receipts for the original purchases will be sufficient in processing a full refund. I would also like to bring another concern to your attention. Upon arriving to my room Saturday evening, I found a dirty towel left in the sink and another guest’s hair clogging the shower drain. Although the staff addressed the issue promptly once notified, these are not standards I would"
