The hotel is in a perfect location; you can walk everywhere, and the Sagrada Familia is just two blocks away. The room was perfect—the air conditioning worked excellently, and the bathroom was spacious. The only issue we had was the breakfast; it really isn't worth it at all—you're better off having breakfast at the café on the corner (don't waste your money on that "included breakfast"). There was no variety, and to top it off, it tasted bad; the only things with any variety were a couple of fruit options and various types of bread.

If all you want is a place to shower and sleep, this is it! Definitely “no frills”…body wash and hand soap was sufficient (we stayed for 2 nights), towels were thin (beware $ for more towels), the shower doors allowed water to leak all over the floor - but it was a great shower with high water pressure! The rooms are small (yes, we are spoiled Americans) and the a/c worked extremely well! On the more positive side, the staff was terrific! Friendly and ever so helpful with bag storage and directions!

The staff here were so helpful and welcoming to our group of 6. Our rooms were clean and laid out efficiently. The breakfast was as expected with plenty of choices. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to small restaurants and local grocery stores plus it was near enough for sightseeing Barcelona’s attractions!! Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Budget friendly good hotel, but with issues. The hotel is situated in an excellent position especially for visiting the Sagrada Família basilica which is only a short walk away. Numerous supermarket type shops and eateries on the same street, and taxis available on and around the road making it easy to get around to specific places of interest. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, providing a quick and efficient check in and check out. Breakfast is adequate but an area that falls down on quality. Food barely warm for the most part, and replenishment of old or empty items too slow. Eating area kept clean, but we found several ‘clean’ plates left with food remnants on them. The hotel in itself is clean to a high standard in most areas, and our room was extremely clean on arrival. Maintenance should be better. We reported a problem with the hairdryer in the room shortly after checking in. The plastic around the airflow was badly melted by a previous occupant and similar damage around the nozzle, making it unsafe to use in my opinion. Report was noted but only acted upon on day three when it was replaced by an electrician. Not ideal when that facility is needed. The advertised roof top terrace is in very poor condition and we didn’t use it after taking a look at it. Numerous floorboards split, broken, and lots of screws missing. One board broken making it stick up and a trip hazard. Chairs whose legs can slip in gaps between the floorboards, and ripped couches in one area.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again. The room was comfortable and the shower was perfect after a long traveling day. We were able to leave our bags when arrived early before check in and we found the best food in Barcelona across the street, My Friend Coffee and Brunch. This hotel also has a morning breakfast buffet as well. There is also a market across the street as well. Sagrada Família is very close, the location of this Hotel is great for exploring the area.

DO NOT STAY!! The staff are terrible, rude and unhelpful! The air conditioning did not work in our room, it was sweltering, I had to lay in bed and pour water on myself!! It was hard to breathe!! The staff told me that just because it was not as cool as I would have liked it, doesn’t mean it’s not cool??? Meanwhile the reception area was nice and cold!!! Awful stay, will be requesting refund!!

The best feature of this hotel is the close proximity to the Sagrada Famila, it is walkable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and adequate. The hotel is older but for our purposes it didn't matter. Our rate included the breakfast which was very basic, but good. If you are looking for a reasonable cost hotel, close to the basilica, this is a good choice.
