"The cabin was as advertised. Close to Cass Railroad, Snowshoe, Sharps General Store, and Marlinton. Plenty of room for our group. Lots of games for the kiddo. We would definitely return. Host was very responsive ."

Largely made up of foreign young people who are eager to learn the hospitality business and please rhe guests, the staff make the experience of being at rhe Omni a pleasant and rewarding time to remember. As someone who grew up abroad, my wife and I appreciated the many nationalities and, yes, the consistent high quality of the staff. Wonderful to see a US corporation helping develop young people from the US and other countries."

"Manager did our small group a favor & prepared a sandwich, vegetables, & pie dessert for us. We stayed in the "Nautical Room," which had an assortment of nautical decor. The library in the place was enormous, with satellite bookcases throughout. Breakfast included eggs & bacon, with a nice assortment of cold dishes."

"This home is beautiful and you can’t beat the location, right on the Greenbrier River. It’s quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for our family get together. There were a few house keeping issues: sink tops in bathrooms were covered in dust. Freezer, top shelf was dirty. Screened in porch where we spent most of our time needed a good cleanup to remove all the dead bugs and debris. It states in the property description that fire wood is provided. There was no firewood. Even with the house keeping issues, I would consider renting again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this property near Marlington! The cabin is beautiful and still has that wonderful fresh, new-build feel. It was spotless, cozy, and such a peaceful place to relax.We had been a little concerned about staying during hot weather since there isn't air conditioning, but the ceiling fans kept the cabin surprisingly comfortable. It was only a little warm for a couple of hours in the evening, and the floor fan we brought made all the difference. If you're visiting during the hottest part of the summer, you may want to pack a fan just in case.Guests are asked to wash their own dishes before checking out. The previous guest had missed a frying pan and a couple of plates, but with the large sink it only took a minute to clean them, so it wasn't a big deal.One thing we really appreciated was how thoughtfully the cabin is stocked. During our stay, one member of our group misjudged a step and fell on her knee. We were so thankful to find both a first aid kit and a flashlight conveniently available. Those little touches really show that the owners care about their guests.The only other minor issue was that the yard hadn't been mowed because the lawnmower was being repaired. Since it was around 90F during our visit, we weren't spending much time outside anyway, so it didn't impact our stay.Overall, this is a wonderful cabin, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's a beautiful, comfortable place to unwind, and we highly recommend it!"

"The Dome Home was such a fun experience for our family. It was so spacious and the kids had fun exploring in and around the house. It was very close to the Snow Shoe village, so we were able to utilize the resort facilities and we signed up for numerous activities. Our host was so responsive. We would highly recommend."
