"The Aztec was a good place to stay for a quick trip to the beach. The prices are good for on the boardwalk location. Staff were friendly, lots of towels provided. Two free beach badges and free parking were included. No dresser to put clothing in and no hooks in bathroom to hang things on or towels. Walls were thin and heard noises but nothing rowdy was happening during our stay. The property was a bit dated, with hand railings on steps with dirty chipped paint, slow elevator, and it could use a fresher look but then I’m sure prices would increase. The bed was firm. The pillows were flat and very uncomfortable for my liking. I usually take my own and forgot. We didn’t use the pool or restaurant. Would I go back? Probably not for a long stay."
