"We loved the school house! It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Opening the front door of the school, was like going back in time to my grade school days. We loved the oak floors. Each room has a different theme. I would have loved to seen them! We stayed in room D, the Lake Room. Room B is the Adventure Room and Room C is the Flower Room. They are working on Room A, which will be the Music Room. The beds were comfy, room was very clean! The only thing I would suggest is...taller...

"Mary Lynn was so welcoming and a wonderful hostess. She had beautiful lilacs and homemade banana bread and very nice card waiting on our arrival. She even helped us celebrate our anniversary with another beautiful card and bottle of wine! I would recommend to anyone this was a wonderful home away from home to stay for the week we very much enjoyed ourselves, and will be returning for our next trip thank you Mary Lynn !!"

"Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint. The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere,...

"This is a nice small cottage, steps away from the beach. Really close to the Mackinac Ferrys. We enjoyed our stay and my wife had a great birthday."
