Tower house Gombola

Our tower is a unique place surrounded by the nature of the Apennines. A building that has never been modified and inhabited since the XV century. It is located on the site of an ancient Celtic village and at the foot of an ancient necropolis: the area was also inhabited by the Romans and is a place full of peace and spirituality. Perfect for meditating, walking and living a unique experience, a small journey through time in a magical, timeless silence where you forget to be in the XXI century!


The building was an ancient tower in communication with the castle. The privacy is total although it is possible to reach the main road in less than 200 meters. The tower can only be reached on foot or off-road. At the check-in we provide directly to bring guests on-site with our 4x4. During the day you can make many trekking along the ancient Matilda roads, visit the castles of the area and reach the village of Polinago at 3 km where you can find the main services. During the night you can observe a spectacular starry sky thanks to the lack of light pollution ..
The tower is devoid of normal living comfort. A wood stove to warm up, a small kitchen for dining. Water is present but outside the building and it is possible to wash using an external solar shower. Always outside there is a compost toilet for our guests. A solar panel allows you to recharge the batteries and illuminate the rooms. The available beds are 4. An extremely simple but exciting place. During the stay we are always available for any useful information and to provide assistance.


Guests have access to the property's entire tower, garden and forest.
