"The sink in the room had a really bad leak when we got there, they where trying to move us to another room that night but it didn’t have the ocean view which I had paid for so I told them no. When I went downstairs to inform them of what was going on the maintenance person just knocked on the door one time and didn’t wait for anybody to answer. My partner was in the bed with no clothes on and he still proceeded to go in the bathroom to look at the leak which was very unacceptable. So the next morning I went back down to speak with a manager about what had happened and about the leak in the bathroom. The bathroom are very outdated, they promote that they have microwaves in the room and didn’t. For the amount I paid for it wasn’t worth it at all."

"I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Days Inn & Suites. The hotel advertises itself as a non-smoking property; however, the entire facility smelled heavily of marijuana, cigarette smoke, and an overall foul odor in the rooms. The first room assigned to my family was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. It appeared as though someone had recently been smoking and sleeping in the room before we checked in. The furniture, particularly the couch in both rooms, had multiple visible stains and even contained food debris. Additionally, the bathroom conditions were unacceptable, with mold visibly present around the bathtub walls and seal. What made the experience even worse was the lack of professionalism and empathy from the front desk staff. I explained to the receptionist that I suffer from asthma and was traveling with two toddlers, making the smoke-filled environment a serious health concern. Despite this, I was told, “We have no more rooms available, and you will have to take that room.” The dismissive and unfriendly customer service was completely unacceptable. She eventually provided a room that smelled of marijuana. This stay was unsanitary, unhealthy, and far below any reasonable hospitality standard. Based on this experience, I will never stay at this hotel chain again and would not recommend it to others. This will be listed as my worst experience this year. Let this be a warning to others: DO NOT STAY HERE."
