A Sweet Getaway

For a couple fresh from the Trans-Atlantic flight, this place was beyond perfect for us! The location is so cozy and quiet, with a fantastic view of Pompeii & the ruins!

Nice Apartment; Kind People

Vrbo has the wrong coordinates, so make sure you look at house numbers. The property contact was very easy to get ahold of, understanding, and helpful. The space was very nice and close to the archeological site.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at this apartment! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the host was nice enough to pick us up around the corner of the place because it can be a little difficult to locate the first time. The apartment we stayed in was not the one in the pictures of the place, but the host did send pictures of the apartment months before our stay. Overall we had a great time!

1 night in Pompeii

The place & view was exceptional! Very nice set up! There was a misunderstanding about the hot tub; we thought it was included in the stay, but it was 20 euros extra, & 5 euros extra to use the robe! When we found the robe(due to looking for a first aid kit) I contacted Roberta if we were able to purchase the robe. My son & I texted her for a 1/2 an hour, as she wouldn’t answer our question; but yet seemed to reprimand us for using robe & telling us extra use of towels cost more. We felt she didn’t understand English too well. Also, seemed to not have a first aid kit. If you rent a place in Italy, & the host states they know English & Italian; it is more likely not the case & can be difficult to get questions answered!

Pompeii Short Stay Overnight

We booked this as a last minute stay. It worked generally well, but it is a bit difficult to find in the neighborhood. And we had a larger (for Europe) car that was a challenge getting in to the property for parking -- but in fairness, I am not sure that would have been different in most other places in the area. It was a fine place and host Roberta was very helpful.

Rooms were clean, however the listing did not match the rooms. You do not have a private kitchen. It is shared with the other room renters. There was no hot tub included, you had to pay 20euro/person if you wanted to use it. If you have a vehicle larger than a smart car chances are you won't be able to park there. The host did find us parking which was a 7 minute walk from the place. The complex had construction going on which was really loud. Overall we made it work, but we rented this place based on the listing details and we were disappointed when things didn't match up.
