Perfect place to stay!

Me and my friend had an excellent stay for 3 nights. Perfect villa with pool view but quiet and private. The property i stunning. An hidden oasis! Great big pool. Perfect service, tasty food and drinks. And as a surprise they arranged poolside dinner for everyone one night and the cinema at the beach another night. We loved it! Perfect getaway from our busy lives! Not the best place for a swin in the ocean - it is posdible - and the hotel also provided free car transport to a better beach nearby! Amazing. We would come back anytime!

Really nice place!

This place is really lovely. The rooms are really high standard, spacious with A/C, free water, nice beds, free products, smartTV and just in general attention to detail. WiFi here is absolutely outstanding. Staff is really service minded and welcoming. Cleaning is perfect and they make sure everyday to spray your room against bugs. The food is good, not amazing, but there’s a big selection, so something for everyone. Pool area is big and beautiful. The pool is a bit dirty and gets really hot during the day, so it doesn’t really have a chilling effect. Also the sunbeds are horrible. Some of the mattresses are flat and some of the sunbeds doesn’t change “settings” so you can lie down - they just don’t offer much comfort and I tried all of the beds during my stay ;) I spend most of my stay there by the pool, so if the sunbeds had been good and the pool had been chiller I’d have given this place 5 stars in total ❤️

Strongly recommend!

It is a 5-star feeling, with a feeling of space, mindful of this is Zanzibar and not Hilton in the Western world. You feel there is a strong western management teams that ensure all the little things that you appreciate with a personal touch and connection. Small-medium size resort placed a bit away (1 hour) from tourist centers like Zanzibar city and North main beaches. Yes, the beach is not good, but there is a great one 5 min away connected with the hotel. But you get a feel of space and especially Vladislava and Adella have made the perfect setting for one of the best experiences. You get a feeling of new and clean rooms and a great little resort, amazing restaurant, fantastic pool area and special evening events. Very relaxing feeling all the way - the opposite of Zanzibar Stone Town and North coast. Good value for money compared to other hotels we have seen. You want to top-up for all-inclusive for the days you are not out of the hotel. 80$ and 50$ (non-alco) pp. Not cheap, but worth it. Yes, we strongly recommend this resort/hotel. We were here as a family of 5 in two rooms.

The hotel itself is nice but the location is very far from everything. We were suppose disappointed that we did not read anywhere about high and low tide. We did not have access to the beach due to this and of course if we knew would not have booked this location. Also shuttles to a different beach has limited time. Food was good but extremely expensive for what you get and we were a big group of 8 the service was not great. Took forever and not everyone ate together.

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön und ruhig – ideal, wenn man Erholung sucht. Die Anlage ist gut gepflegt und macht insgesamt einen sauberen, einladenden Eindruck. Wichtig zu wissen: Man sollte sich vorher über die Tiden (Ebbe und Flut) informieren, da das Meer hier sehr flach ist. Schwimmen im Meer ist leider nicht möglich, was etwas schade ist. Das Personal war leider nicht besonders aufmerksam oder freundlich, was den Aufenthalt ein wenig getrübt hat. Insgesamt ein schöner, ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen, aber mit kleinen Abstrichen beim Service und beim Baden im Meer.

Hotelrummet överensstämde inte med beskrivningen. AC fungerade inte till fullo och förbättrades inte. Fin hotelomgivning men tråkigt att man inte kunde bada på stranden. Bra att det erbjöds annan strandvistelse men trist att behöva åka bil dit. Maten trist, för lite tanzanisk mat, frukosten bäst. Ledningen attackerande attityd. Handdukar borde ha bytts ut. Övrig personal jobbade hårt och var hjälpsamma. Jularrangemanget var ett gott försök, men maten inte värd sitt pris och kom i fel ordning.

Paradise is right - expect to cry when you leave.

After a little tour of the island hitting busy Stonetown and overly touristy Nungwi, this was JUST what we needed - an actual taste of the tropical island paradise we had wanted from Zanzibar. I am so glad we spent the longest time here in comparison to other places. The rooms are perfect - we stayed in a studio - i imagine the villas to be even better, but we had everything we needed and more. The food was the best we had on the island. Truly delicious! The grounds are magical - so lush and green and the pool is beautiful, with comfy loungers and a great hammock. As other reviews state, there is not a typical 'beach' for sunbathing/swimming, however, the resort offers free transport to another beach 5mins away. We loved the mangrove style beach with its rockpools and we enjoyed several walks along to the other resorts on rocky outcrop - lots of wildlife to be seen - so peaceful and brought out the kids in us we explored. I could not recommend this place enough!
