"Access to this hotel is via the sister hotel up the road. This is where reception and breakfast are located. The young man on duty spoke good French but was completely unhelpful and without a grasp of customer service - when I explained the dangerous condition of the lift, he tried to defend it! "This was hands down our favorite stay over the course of a two-week trip in southwestern France. The owners are so very kind and helpful, and the home itself is beautifully refurbished. All the rooms have lovely views, either of the garden or of the plateaus across the valley. We enjoyed chatting with the owners who were very patient with the limits of our French language abilities!
