"We were greeted by Victor, very friendly and welcoming, who showed us to our room, a small double but very clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. We had a lovely view of Todd Crag which we were climbing the next day. Breakfast was amazing, a good selection of cereal, yoghurt, fruit and even cakes! My husband had the full English and I chose the smashed avocado on toast with poached egg. We were served by friendly and efficient Joanna who took the trouble to remember our names! The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the centre of the village and has it's own good sized car park"

We also loved the pool, you had to pay extra but I felt this was worth it, the pool was a good size and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi nice for adults to relax. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, nice reception area with lovely open fire to sit by."
