Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. ...

North Captiva Point House - Boat/Water Taxi Only **NEWLY RENOVATED **
Excellent rental on it’s own private peninsula at the tip of the island. You definitely need a golf cart to get around. Saw dolphin and manatee from the dock daily. Communication with the host was seamless. Beds could use a mattress upgrade. That’s the only fault I could find. Would 100% return.

Not enough covers for night -blankets missing in my room. The first room I got smelled like smoke so I had to change it both were pretty outdated and rough looking
