"A great little house with lots of appeal. Lots of art and whimsical touches throughout the house. Was clean and had all we needed, even found extra pillows for a better sleep. Is a good grocery store half a block away. We found a fabulous restaurant that had just opened up walking distance from the house, highly recommend! Le Silo, 15 Rue du docteur Bigiois. All the house instructions were in French only so we did have a bit of a time trying to translate it all to English so we could understand."

"The room is very small. There are no curtains just sheers. The hotel is well situated to visit LaRochelle and easy access to out of town. You really can’t cook or make food in the tiny kitchen. Just heat things and you must wash all dishes. Coffee is not provided just instant coffee. There is a coffee machine in lobby for 2euros. There is no lounge or place to go other than your room. There is a option for breakfast down in cafeteria ( you cannot use personnally just for service). It looked very ordinary. It’s more suited for university. "

"Location, atmosphere, room & staff excellent. Only minor point that the aircon did not work. It was unseasonably warm when we stayed but could have done with the room being cooler to sleep. Would stay again. Nick"
