The location was great; the proximity to the beach was really close. They provided plenty of bikes and water toys to play with. The house was in good condition and the street was quiet. The check-in process was easy and communication was open.

Short weekend stay

Our family and another family stayed here together while in town for a memorial service for our grandmother. Overall good location and good stay. Debbie and Keith were responsive when I had questions.

Perfect beach vacation!

Our group came out to visit family and had a wonderful stay! Debbie was so great to communicate with and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! We were thrilled to see all the bikes, boogie boards, surf boards, beach chairs, and plenty more! We will definitely be returning!!

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family. There was room for everyone. The house is has something for everyone, boggy board, bikes, surfing, games, and puzzles.

Relaxing Staycation

New Year’s Family Vacation

This was perfect for our family which included nine people, ages 2 to 73! The location is perfect: the beaches only a block away, the city of Oxnard has everything you need within several minutes of driving, and access to Santa Barbara, Ventura, and LA is extremely easy. The hosts were amazing and super communicative and helpful, even accommodating our request to check in early since their cleaners were finished. The place is exactly as described in the pictures and we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family trip!

We picked this house for the location and the beach toys that are included, and it did not disappoint at all!! We loved our stay and couldn’t believe how lovely the beach is and how secluded it felt with just a few other families anywhere close on the beach. The lifeguards were an unexpected plus as well. We would absolutely plan a repeat of this trip!

Fun Beach House

We had such a fun time at the beach house. We rode bikes over to Hollywood beach and enjoyed just hanging out. The area is very nice and the weather was perfect. We will definitely look into this beach house for trips in the future.

Family Getaway

We absolutely loved staying in your home away from home. We visited the area for my nieces graduation. So we had multiple generations staying here. It was great to have a place to stay together, so we could spend more time hanging out. Thank you for the smooth check-in and check-out, and great communication throughout.

This Place Has It All

We have vacationed at Silver Strand Beach 4 times and stayed at 4 different VRBO’s. This house was the best! It is very spacious and clean with garage FULL of beach equipment. We will be back to this house for sure 😁

Grea time

My family stayed there for a week and had a great time. With us traveling across the country so we were limited of what we could bring so having all the boards, wetsuit, bikes etc already there made our trip so much more enjoyable!

Great beach house

I liked that there was super clear and professional communication with the owners. Easy walking distance to the beach. The only consideration is that there are only two bathrooms. If you have the max number of guests, 10 people, be prepared to share two sinks/mirrors/showers between the 10 of you. Otherwise a perfect beach house. I would definitely visit again in the summer to enjoy all the beach toys they have!

Fabulous Vacation

This property was perfect for our large family. It had everything we needed. It's just a few steps from the beach. The garage has all the beach toys you could possibly need. Everyone enjoyed riding the bikes. The host was nice to work with. Thank you.

Silver Stand get away!

This was a lovely home and plenty of room for our family of 8. Lots of stairs so if you have toddlers would want to bring baby gate . Property was beautiful, flowers in full bloom! Would stay again! Beds were comfortable !! Plenty of kitchen supply’s condiments ect. Cooking utensils! The little putting green in front yard was a hit with our family!

Great weekend getaway

Three college friends and I spend a long weekend here. We loved the cleanliness, cute decorations, outdoor spaces, nearness to the beach, and easy check-in and check-out. Also, reminders were conveniently posted around the space to remind us where towels and other things were. We were glad to have laundry access, a beach wagon, and bikes to check out the nearby inlets. Seeing the seals in the morning was also a treat! Thanks Debbie for welcoming us to your beach home! Great for a Family Vacation!

This home had everything you could ever need for the beach, which was so nice. We only had to bring out clothes and food! The kitchen was well stocked, which was great because we did a lot of cooking and BBQing. The upper balconies were a great place for the kids to play and run around. The beach is a short walk. It is a beautiful clean beach and was nearly empty every day! Debbie responded to me immediately throughout the whole process from booking to checking out. That was very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay her again!

Perfect spot!

The owner was very attentive. The home worked out great for us and all we wanted to do! Loved having all of the bikes and boards available. The kids loved using them at the beach. We also enjoyed the very short walk to the beach and that it is a quiet beach. Just a little secret for other travelers, once you are out on the beach walk to your left towards the naval base where there are rocks and at the edge is an old sunken boat. It is all rusted now but a local told us about it and we enjoyed searching for it! Would definitely come back here.

Perfect beach retreat with lots of add-ins

We really enjoyed our stay. The place included lots of extras we had read about, but it's a different experience to actually see it for yourself. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the plates, utensils, pots and pans you could ever need. We also had access to essential condiments and a keurig style coffee machine. We also loved the fact we could use their bikes to ride around the neighborhood. In addition to the bikes, they also had surfboards, wetsuits, kayaks and other water ties we were free to use (a true added bonus). Overall, we were quite happy with our stay and that added extra - loved the ocean view from the top deck. The single bed on the top floor was a little noisey (squeeky), but other than that, the place was a true gem and the hosts were super responsive when we did have questions.

All the beach house amenities you need.

We had a wonderful time. The layout of this house was excellent for families with kids. Each bedroom has great separation from the other - so if you have babies, older kids, adults, you can easily separate folks based on the sleep needs, noise, etc. The street noise was quite as well. One thing to be mindful of is this house does a fair amount of stairs - one set up from the street level to the main living area and two bedrooms, and another set to the 2nd floor bedroom. All the beds were comfy - and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to spare. If you're looking to visit the beach, there's so much beach equipment in the garage, you should be able to find everything you need. The house was clean, organized, and we will certainly consider another stay.
