Great house (incl heated, saltwater pool & bikes), but some issues!1) Location of home inaccurate: Bay side, not Gulf side (not even located within blue on map)! Closest public beach access is 0.7 mi. After nonrefundable booking & reaching out to host, host acknowledged location not accurate but blamed VRBO. VRBO acknowledged concern but took no action.2) Host did not send access code until asked morning of3) There was an error in guest # when booking & kids were dropped from reservation without our knowledge. VRBO app now only reflects # of adults on reservation & only place kids are captured is in initial booking confirmation email! Hours after arrival, host had VRBO contact us by phone & threaten to cancel reservation after we had returned with our Thanksgiving week groceries. Host messaged requesting we update guest #, which was not possible past check-in, then sent demand for additional payment (20%) with threat to have VRBO “deal with” it if we refused. When asked for details about additional fees (not found on listing), was told by host & VRBO that host was actively adjusting their rates. We paid, but handling of situation was poor by host & VRBO. Booking error led to insufficient linens for beds & bath, host did not tell us & we discovered it at bedtime for kids. Host did not respond until next morning & sent neighbors to get linens from locked closet in kids room.4) WiFi router needed to be manually rebooted frequently5) Thermostat program overrides inputs
