Perfect place to stay to enjoy the bay and the Cape
This is our 3rd time staying here. Best of both worlds with the beach across the street, always friendly neighbors and the large yard and bay in your backyard. Extremely clean and very well stocked. We will be back!
This was our second year in a row staying at this property for our family vacation. When I asked the kids where they would like to go, they said "Same place as last year!" The property has plenty of room for everyone. The location is wonderful and we love that it is right on the beach. Nice clean property with plenty of linens for our family of 6. Will probably book this again for next year!
Beautifully decorated home. The master room bed was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. The house has four levels but there is an elevator that came in very handy for groceries and luggage.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was better than described. It was right on the sand with just a very short walk to the water with beautiful views throughout the home. Our only negative was that the property grounds aren’t well kept. There was A LOT of trash on the lot and a long the driveway. Overall great trip!

Great house
Extremely comfortable house. Everything is clean and the house has all your needs.
The area is still recovering but Port St Joe is less than 10 min away with a very complete supermarket.
We were able to go horseback riding at the beach, s’mores one night and play at the beach with our dog.
I would definitely recommend this place even for groups of friends or multiple families.
We loved the view and beaches. The elevator didn’t work which was a really big bummer because there are 3 flights of stairs to carry luggage up and down, and just daily a lot of stairs, but they did send a maintenance guy out to attempt to repair. There are some locks missing on some of the sliding doors.
House was just as expected. Clean and kitchen well equipped. Two maintenance issues which were taken care of quickly. We were pleased with our stay. Short walk to beach which was not at all crowded. Very nice house. Check in was very convenient. Only downside was biting flies and lots if mosquitos. Be prepared.

Spring Break at Scallop Pass
Fantastic recovery from the hurricane! We stayed in same unit two years ago and noted only a few minor things missing, i.e., ground level shower, fish cleaning station, and a couple of other minor things. We did call local managers for elevator assist, and some extra bed linen which they promptly supplied--THANKS. I am also thankful my boat survived the hurricane--it was in the Port St Joe Barn. Fishing was good--the family (three generations) had a great time! Joe Mc
The best part about this place is the private beach. The house was okay, several things were broken (the fridge shelving was missing, the icemaker, a railing, exterior door handle, the oven door didn't close all the way) The cleaning people were there 11 to 5, but there was still some areas not cleaned well (mold in the showers, hair in the bathroom drawer, fingerprints on the fridge)
The decor was nice, I would have liked to see more kitchen pots & pans /larger options to assist on cooking for large groups.
We had an amazing vacation here.
We love Port St. Joe, and aim to stay there every year. The place was exceptional. Very clean, spacious, and easy. We went straight to it with our own access code. The check-out list was the shortest I’ve ever experienced. Many places charge a huge cleaning fee then instruct you to clean before you leave, but not here. Very stress-free… including someone who picked up the trash from outside of the house. The only thing tI would say to improve upon was a few very loose banisters on the deck made a bit of an issue for young children. That being said, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!
We loved the house & location. Nicely decorated & furnished. Sunrise/sunset views were amazing & we enjoyed the porches & long walks on the beach. Saw dolphins several days & an alligator on the beach the first day we were there! It’s hard to find a house for a large group with enough beds & we wished the massive upper floor had more options besides the one bed. Also wished for more bathrooms that were available w/o going through someone’s bedroom. The elevator was super helpful. Kitchen well equipped. May want to have a pest control visit (tiny critters seen on cooktop when burners are turned on?? 😳) & check lighting. The bunk room was so dim it was hard to see.
We chose this property because of the location & unobstructed view of the Gulf, which did not disappoint. The other major factor was having an elevator since a couple of folks in our family have knee & hip issues. The elevator did not work and could not be repaired while we were there. One o f the showers didn’t have hot water, even though the sink did.We weren’t completely unhappy, but I feel that the property management should have offered something to help make up for having to lug our bags, gear & groceries 3 to 4 flights up all those stairs.
Enjoyed the home. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us. There are two dunes to walk over to get to the beach. I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We rented a golf cart to drive on the beach since one of our group did have mobility issues. Golf cart was a game changer and the cart access was just 2 rivals away from the cart path. The beach was gorgeous. The property manager was awesome. I was informed before we got there that there was a problem with the sliding glass door handle and someone would be out to fix it when the parts came in. Coffee pot was broken they replaced it immediately. Beds were comfy.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
The house was in a perfect location! It was nice, quiet and not crowded. It was clean and stocked with a few days of necessities. They provided cute gift boxes for each bathroom and kitchen filled with all the necessities needed. The elevator was a nice bonus when unloading our things. The layout was nice and roomy with an open kitchen/dining room to communicate. The view of the ocean from the deck was absolutely beautiful! There was an extra small living room was nice for the kids to have their own space to play or watch tv. There were a few issues with the house that their maintenance took care of in a reasonable time. We were thankful they accommodated us with a/c units for the house since their main a/c unit had issues. Suggestions would be fix leaky kitchen faucet, spray for bugs and rats outdoors. It would have been nice to have a screened in porch as we had many noseeum bites! When we arrived there were remnants of a watermelon thrown in the grass which we watched a few rats chew on. We experienced some roaches on the main level and top floor bedrooms. There is or what appears to be an abandoned house next door that needs a lot of work and cleaning done. The equipment rental company they use is amazing. Very fast responses and check in texts. All in all great place for our first family beach trip. I would recommend staying there but maybe check in with host to make sure no issues ahead of time. When you book that far in advanced, you want the place to be as advertised.
Property was clean and very spacious. Lots of stairs but elevator was priceless for getting luggage and groceries from the car. Views from beach side of house were very nice. Beach is not crowded which I loved. I was disappointed about the Gulf water color in this area. It is not what we were expecting in Florida. Lots of dolphin activity which we never tired of watching. Management responsive when we reported clothes dryer not working.
The house is very well appointed with everything you need and beautiful beach decor. The property manager, Matt, was easy to reach and very helpful throughout our stay.
Stay was fun, house was nice, clean, great location. The only thing that would have made it a 5 is a boardwalk to the beach. Most of the other houses next door had one. The pulling of beach carts on sand was a haul!
