"Such a fun experience to stay at CW! It reminds me of the inn from the movie Blackbeard’s Ghost in the best way. The property is lovely and feels like an adult sleep away camp. Our room in the lodge was very quaint but oh so comfortable. We loved having comfy robes and the Pendleton wool Filson blanket for our bed. The shared bathroom was well appointed and had everything we needed to get ready for the day. Because the rooms are small we took advantage of many of the seating areas around the inn to read, drink coffee, and hang out (including the outside ones facing the water. We’re excited to sit around a fire outside in our next trip. We enjoyed the complimentary s’mores in the great room on arrival and dinner in the restaurant was excellent - many options for every palate. We couldn’t decide between the rhubarb tart, carrot cake or earl grey ice cream with shortbread for dessert so chose all three. Highly recommend. Overall, this experience is just that - an experience. Creaky floors, small staircases, old windows, and thin walls. That’s the charm of staying somewhere that’s authentic and over 100 years old. The added bonus is the wonderful staff, the general store espresso bar with lovely gifts, the sauna, the location, the views, and the attention to detail around the property. I can’t wait to return."

"We loved our time here. The room was lovely with the cozy fireplace. The coffee (important), hot tub, robes, towels and bath salts were wonderful. We would love to come back one day and would highly recommend. Thank you. "

"The room was clean and modern, and the staff was really nice and friendly. There were plenty of snacks and food available, which was a great touch. If I had to be picky, the entryway felt a little cluttered, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, for the price, it was a great stay."

"Comfy bed, great beach view. Grateful for the sticks they keep in the sliders as you really have to shove the door to get it locked. Only one lock option in the main room door; not super secure feeling for solo female traveler but there is a really convenient luggage rack which not all hotels provide! Upon moving the shower curtain to take shower, located two extra wasclothes in the upper corner of the shower curtain crusty and used. Third time staying here, third time not super friendly check in staff. Comes with wall mounted hair dryer, would not suggest using as back of dryer was very full of lint. Lots of parking options, lots of warm water. If you prefer staying in a hotel where you can hear your neighbors phone conversation, this is a great opportunity for you! "
