"We loved our stay! The house was very clean, tastefully decorated, cozy, comfortable and the lake view was simply incredible. Kitchen was super spacious and well-stocked. We loved the quietness and being away from the tourists in Bayfield, although we stocked up on groceries beforehand, otherwise you’d have to drive about 45 minutes to get to bigger grocery stores (and most state parks, restaurants, other attractions, etc). Check-in was smooth and the host communications were great as well."

"The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bed skirts were too long and didn’t fit the beds well so I tripped over the excess fabric on the floor. Every staff member was very friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was reasonably priced. I would stay there again if I travel through that part of the state again. Having access to the beach topped off the stay."

"Our group of four women friends really enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. We each had a comfortable private room (3 rooms plus loft) and loved hanging out in the comfy living room and on the deck where we enjoyed spectacular views of Lake Superior and activity from squirrels, rabbits, butterflies, dragonflies, ducks, loons, birds, and a blue jay who visited regularly and was quite entertaining. The house and kitchen are extremely well-appointed so we had everything we needed. It was quiet at night, the beds were comfortable, and we all enjoyed good sleep. Highly recommend!"

"My family and in-laws wanted to make a last-minute holiday weekend trip to the Apostle Islands for some Lake Superior kayaking. We were incredibly lucky that these guys had a last-minute cancellation. The house is as pictured- spacious with panoramic views of the lake. It's a quirky design in that it appears to be two homes that have been connected. We were 4 adults, 4 kids and had room to spare. HUGE kitchen stocked well with everything you could need. This was the first VRBO I have ever stayed in where I didn't spend even a minute trying to find a cooking implement- it was all just there. Clean sheets, tons of towels, You'd need a year there to get through every board game and movie they have in the shelves. Huge highlight was the enclosed terrace overlooking the lake where I had my tea in the morning. House is on a quiet street away from town which was perfect. Herbster or Cornucopia are 15 minute drives, so just stock the fridge early. Hosts very responsive although I didn't really need them much since everything was right where it should be."

"This unit was as described and met our expectations. It was very clean and the hosts had great communication. We enjoyed our stay and would return. We really enjoyed the view of the lake from the unit and also utilized the pool, hot tub, and fitness area."
