"Hands down one of the best places to stay! The property is gorgeous, well-located, and close to everything. What really sets it apart is the staff—they are unbelievably helpful and informative. They took the time to explain the entire city to us with maps and gave us every detail we could possibly need. Bed needs to be upgraded, mattress is hard and uncomfortable. Shower is in the bathtub, you need to step over the bathtub to access. Limited views from rooms. Convenient city bus stop not far from the main gate to access downtown and Ortigia. Free parking for those with rental cars. Breakfast is okay, typical large group buffet-style with chaotic frenzy to grab fresh items in limited quantities. Restaurant for dinner is okay but overpriced. Much better dining options in town."

"We arrived feeling stressed after the drive to the hotel! The lovely young lady on the front desk welcomed us with a warm Smile and arranged for the bartender to bring us a drink outside so we could soak up the afternoon sun and relax. We were served a delicious aperol. The decor throughout the hotel is very tasteful even the corridors to the room. Clean white walls but a hint of original brickwork showing. Comfy beds, crisp white linen. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Everywhere was spotless. Great breakfast and amazing service. Lovely location just opposite the pretty pebbly beach and around the corner from the lovely streets full of restaurants, shops and wonderful architecture. Would definitely return."
