Big problem the shuttle back to the ferry which is offered as part of the service was refused apparently because the ferry left at 7.55am and the shuttle starts ay 8am. To be at tbe ferry the shuttle would need to have left at 7.30 !!! I was advised to get a taxi. I walked. The onsite shop and bar barista closed for tbe season midway through my stay. Very very annoying and a massive disappointment not to buy a coffee in the morning. Nearest...

"Hanny was a gracious host. Her property is beautifully maintained and the house was very clean. The view is spectacular and the crystal clear water is just a few steps away. "This hotel and staff provides great modern facilities and excellent service. Room, restaurant and pool area all spotlessly clean, modern design, and well looked after. Easy to arrange car hire direct at hotel for good price, and airport transfers via hotel, far cheaper than airport taxi's too. Car hire recommended, as so many beautiful area's nearby, and taxi's/uber's expensive, and can be lengthy wait at peak times, ie evenings. Not that much 'walkable' distance. Castellammare del golfo marina (10 min short drive), stunning! And offers great selection of restaurants/bars with amazing views. Village of scopello defo worth a visit too."
