If the door of the room is outside in the middle of Portland, there should be a chain or latch lock inside the door. I am a woman traveling alone.

Holiday Inn Airport - Portland by IHG
The room was clean, but a bit dated in the restroom. The hallways appear to be under repair with the walls seeming to be in active remodel/painting. Overall for the convenience and price this was a good deal.
