The building is charming, the location truly convenient, making most of the city highly walkable. The distinguishing feature, however, was the superlative staff. They simply could not be nicer or more helpful! Don’t miss the breakfast!!!

A real gem. Short walking distance to the old city attraction. A real french style boutique hotel, spacious room with irregular look, very friendly staff. If you are not looking for the glitzy type of hotel, this one is for you.

I highly recommend Cocorico in Porto. The rooms are attractive, the bathrooms spacious. The service.is very good. Excellent hospitality: Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel pays attention to the details whether it be in the design of the rooms or in the preparation and presentation of the food.

Loved this stay! I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return here if I am in the city again. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The free breakfast provided was delicious and thoughtful. The rooms were very comfortable and beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

The staff was very helpful for a number of our questions. The one frustration we had was the street address (number) was not on the website. The taxi driver got us to the correct street but could go no further. I finally found a phone number and he called to get the number. The hotel sign was so small and high up that even if we had been in front of it, we may not have seen it.

This place has two room and a balcony. The bathroom is huge and the service was incredible. The restaurant was close for dinner but they opened for breakfast. Good place if you want to visit Porto with family

Great location, charming room
We had a beautiful room in a recently(ish) renovated old building. The building has so much charm! The room had a terrace which we enjoyed, the bathroom and shower in the room were amazing. They had a pack and play already set up for our 2 year old son when we arrived, and a high chair for him at breakfast, which was wonderful. The service was outstanding, they were wonderful with our son. Great location to walk to Porto’s attractions. Definitely recommend!

I would love to stay there longer!
GREAT hotel! The rooms were huge, the bathroom was spectacular- double open shower and large tub, double basins. We had two rooms each with a small terrace. The view is not great, but it's lovely to sit outside at the table with espresso or wine. The hotel bistro is their breakfast room and it was fantastic, including eggs to order!

Maybe the nicest room I've ever stayed in
WOW. JUST WOW. The rooms are INCREDIBLE. Maybe the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Such wonderful character. The beds are really comfortable and the balcony was divine. My friend and I stayed 2 nights while on a friend trip in Porto. We booked this place last minute not sure what to expect, but the place exceeded all of our expectations. The continental breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had - flaky croissants, cheeses, and spreads. Yum. The hotel is located on the edge of the tourist area, but it's still extremely walkable to other places. They also had onsite parking for free, which was so wonderful since we had driven from Lisbon. This is a true gem. If you have a chance to stay here, DO IT.

I usually do not write a review, but this property is just that amazing!!! I hope everyone has a chance to stay there. The room is beautifully decorated and instagram friendly, haha, for those who love to take pics. Also, it closes to all of the places of interests (within walking distance).

Highly Recommend!
Lovely hotel with a huge room and decorated beautifully. The staff were very helpful and gave great tips for viewing the city. The breakfast was also really good and just the right amount of food to start the day. The location is pretty central and a short walk to nearby attractions. Would definitely stay again if I visit Porto!

We stayed at Cocorico a couple of days before Christmas. After a difficult journey it was a wonderful haven. Everything was easy and beautiful. Dinner and breakfast were a delight. It's easy to walk to the river and other sites. We'd definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! Everything about it was charming and lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was unique and one of our favorites. Location was great too. We could walk most places from it! Definitely recommend!
