The apartment was lovely for our group. The kids room was perfect, and we had lots of space. It was as pictured for sure. Location was pretty good, 10 minute walk to multiple metro stations. A few pros and cons: Pros:- great space, lots of room for a larger group- great value - comfortable beds- great water pressure - not noisy - relatively central location- good communication with host - laundry!- very cute and lovely cafe right below the apartment Cons - no air con. I know this is common in Porto but we happened to be there when it was quite hot. There were fans in the rooms which was great. If you are going in the summer, prepare to be hot! - not a lot of kitchen utensils. There were plenty of the dishes. plates, forks, etc., but definitely lacking some other basic things. The pots and pans were not great, there was only one or two sharp knives, no mixing bowls, no food storage containers of any kind. It was fine overall, but if you plan to cook at the house, you likely will not have what you need.- very basic linens. They worked fine, but each person had only one very small pillow and the sheets and towels were clearly just purchased in bulk for cheap. - power outages. We had the power go out a couple times, but then figured out you can’t run more than one appliance at a time (oven, laundry, etc.). We found the breaker box pretty quickly and figured it out.
