The temperature of shower water in the bathroom was not steady. It was very hot suddently and it was normal. I told the front desk that my son was hurt by this situation. The front desk said he will tell the manager. Unfortunately, there was no improvement on the temperature of shower water. On the third day, i think the housekeeping was too busy, the napkin box next to the bathroom sink was empty, there is no tea bags refilled in the tray that carrying tea bags, instant coffee or suger. There is not enough space for hanging our coats. I will not book this hotel if I visit Porto again.

The staff and rooms were excellent !!! A bonus was the hotel was at the start of a pedestrian street with lots of different shops, cafes and bakeries. We enjoyed two days of walking the pedestrian street.

Nothing to write back home. The only positive from this place was the front desk staff. They were beyond attentive, nice, helpful, etc.. I guess we got what we paid fore here. The bathroom sink was always clogged. The sofa bed, beyond uncomfortable. Pillows were killing our necks. I am positive that at $200/night I could find another place to stay at, other than here. Oh breakfast was good.

It Covered Our Needs
We chose H.I. for its location along Santa Catarina in Porto for easy access by walking to just about everything we wanted to visit. We walked a lot!! There is nothing fancy about the hotel but it filled our needs for a good bed, it was quiet, and had a nice shower. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. What disappointed us was the ugly view out the windows.....back side of apt. buildings. We solved that problem by not opening our curtains! I will say that had we researched a bit better, we might have landed ourselves in some historic hotel that would have enhanced the magic memories of our trip. Priorities.....

This place was great. So close to everything! Staff were so friendly and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. There is a 24 hour parking a few blocks away so parking was no problem either. The continental breakfast was great with plenty of options. Highly recommended

The hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel had luggage storage that we used after check out prior to heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast wasnt great. Little to no vegan options. The quality of the other food options were sub par compared to other hotels we stayed at. The rooms were clean but could use more amenties such as additional towel hooks better lighting, makeup mirrors and under counter sink.

The Hotel is in near the center of most attractions and walking distance to them. Is situated near the heart of the city where it is walking distance to dinning establishments and other entertainment. Hotel also has good breakfast options.

I like the convenient location. I did not like coming back to my room one day at 5 pm and find that my room was not clean. I had to leave the room so they could clean instead of resting before night outing
