Had a difficulty checking in. Had to call several times before getting rhe access code as they sent info to the wrong email address. Sink in the bathroom was broken. The place is walkable to Gaia and Porto.

Loved the location of this property for walking to restaurants, tricky area to be picked up by Uber. Loved spaciousness of the apartment, stairs were challenging with large luggage.

The apartment is quite nice, but on the ground floor so it had a bit of a musty smell to it when we first entered. There’s a little walled in patio at the back so we could open the door to let fresh air in. The place was clean and quiet and the kitchen was fully equipped. There was a bit of port on the table as a welcoming gift.

A gem in Gaia!
We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Fabiana checked us in and was so welcoming and helpful! She gave us all kinds of recommendations and suggestions! We really appreciate the time she took to show us everything around the apartment. We walked everywhere from this location. Easy access to waterfront, port houses, and Porto. We will definitely stay here again! A gem in Gaia!

Super cute studio located in the heart of Gaia, walking distance to Porto city centre. The check in was super easy. I couldn't recommend more, this is defo a place where I will be returning on my next visit to Porto.

i liked everything about this property. The manager Paula was incredible and helped us with everything we needed. location was perfect with steps away from restaurants and port tasting shops. Easy to cross the bridge to get to Porto. we were very happy with our choice of accommodations in the Porto area.

Everything about this property was perfect. Paula, the manager was exceptionally welcoming and friendly; she made a point of making certain I was comfortable in my unit as well as giving me some great tips on experiencing Porto. The unit itself was really wonderful; it was quiet, secure, well appointed and comfortable. Slept well in the bed. Oh yes! It has an elevator! I would be happy living there if I could. Highly recommend this property.

The property was excellent, modern, clean, full kitchen with stovetop, oven, fridge, even dishwasher and all utensils. Excellent location, short walk to main river strip with restaurants and port tastings. Only disappointment was that we were there only 1 night, wish we were in town longer.

Totally refurbished while leaving aspect of the original building. Old world experience with modern amenities. Staff are very helpful. The location is on a hilly street with buildings dating back centuries. Close to everything you need. This is a great value and will recommend it to my friends and family heading off to Villa Nova do Gaia and Porto.

The perfect location!
We loved where we stayed and our hostess Paula was the best hostess ever. Friendly informative and fun. She totally helped us on our stay with great advice. Just up the street was the waterfront with many restaurants boats and tours and so many Port Wine Cellars. The only issue if any issue at all was that we had the ground suite and there was a musty smell of dampness. The place was beautiful and modern. No complaints there!

The property was in a central location, close enough to all major attractions but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise at night. The views from the balcony were spectacular. The staff were helpful, super friendly and shared all their local knowledge upon arrival. Would highly recommend and would be glad to return here

Great location...5 minutes walk from the quays of V.N de Gaia with the amazing views across to Porto city. Very good apartment, very recent renovation - plenty of space and very quiet despite central location. There is also a lift which was a big help for my Mother-in-Law. All the Port House warehouses are on this side of the river and the whole area is being "gentrified" ….so lots of choice of bars and restaurants, and not as hectic as Porto. Would definitely stay there again - the team was great too, good communication and a warm welcome.

Nice apartment close to water
Stayed at the 3rd floor back apartment which has a balcony with very nice view towards the bridge. Helpful staff, clean, comfortable bed, air conditioned. If you have a car, the staff can guide you where to park on the street for free very close to the hotel.

Amazing apartment. Great location, attentive service, great accommodation. Paula met us with visitor guides, recommendations, & PORT! Room includes small patio & table. Seven min walk to Sandeman/Puerto Cruz. 2nd visit to Porto, Enjoyed staying in Gaia more than Porto side. Several little markets are nearby for staples. Pics are accurate. 100% recommendation & will stay here again. arking & driving in this area would be next to impossible.

This is the real Portuguese hospitality and this is why is the best county to visit in Europe. I love the North of the country and I couldn't be more proud of what I saw and they offer us. Spoke with the owner and she always there even printed something important that I needed to mail, provided my daughter Maltesers due to a special request and WOW us with everything. And the place is amazing everything is new and clean, the location is perfect. Added to my favourites and I have recommended to everyone in Canada and Portugal to use them !! STARS!!!!

El apartamento es precioso con unas instancias muy buenas, cerca del centro, etc., el problema es que no les funcionaba bien en nuestro caso el split en modo calor y en oporto sin una buena calefacción la estancia es horrible, en otras estancias que no funcionaba el split (lo sabemos porque reserve 2 habitaciones ) les proporcionaron un calefactor que minimizó el frío , pero en nuestro caso no fue así y lo pasamos regular, la verdad ha sido eso negativo porque el hotel es de 10.

This guest didn't stay at Oporto Home Apartments Wine Cellars. We had past information and bad experience with him in another accomodation and denied the reservation through the plattform the moment he did the reservation, meaning the day before arrival. This means the review doesn't apply to any experience he had in Oporto Home Wine Cellars, since he just wasn't there. We apologize in the name of Expedia that shouldn't allow the review to take place since it is incorrect and misleading.

The best hotel experience in 20days on the road
Excellent reception, personal and welcoming. We, 3p and a dog, stayed in duplex 3F for two nights and just loved it! Everything very nice designed and decorated, as well as brand new and clean. If ever in Porto again, we’ll be back to the hard working girls 😉
