This is a unique property located in a neighborhood in Porto. It's about a 30 minute walk to the downtown area, but we love to walk and enjoyed being so close to the Cristal Park (can't recommend visiting that park enough). There was a bit of a mix up and someone else was in our room when we arrived, but we got right through to someone and got it squared away. The space is unique: full kitchen, upstairs loft and it's very cute. There is no air unit that we saw, so it may be quite warm in the summer months, but was perfect in May with the sky light open to let in fresh air. Lovely little stay and I would book again :)

Decent stay at Villa Burgaes

The property was in a good location in Porto l. Clean for the most part but the laundry room smelled like sewage. As a result we were visited by large cockroaches at night. We informed the property of this and they granted us a refund for the nights we did not use. Great communication on their part. Besides that issue, everything else was great.

Il n y a pas de système de chauffage uniquement des radiateurs. Une odeur de renfermé également. Les murs mériteraient a être repeint. Il y avait seulement une mini table ou on pouvait pas manger . Pas un balai . Le logement n est pas climatisé donc l été il doit faire chaud . Aucun nécessaire pour cuisiner sauf des mini échantillon d' huile et sel. Le ménage à revoir . Sous les lits pleins de poussière. Et les tapis également. Cependant l' endroit est calme .

The area was nice with grocery and pharmacy near by. The apartment was nice to look at but had many unacceptable issues. Most surfaces were clean but the walls and door knobs, cupboard doors and fridge handles were filthy, never cleaned for quite some time. Every dish, plate or mug had huge chips in them and need to be discarded and replaced with new. There were 2 forks, and and one dull knife with the tip broken off. The pillows smelled of sweat and body oder. I was pretty sure it was described as having AC but nope, two fans instead, one of witch was completely broken, dismantled. The leg to the coffee table fell off causing my just cooked dinner to land in the floor. We stayed for 3 nights and never once received clean towels or linen and on the morning that we were leaving we noticed dried blood near the bottom of the sheets,neither of us had cut ourselves .It would do a world of good to invest a little money on new dishes and cutlery and some time and effort into cleaning and maintenance of what would otherwise be a very nice property . Also it was impossible to reach anybody about these issues..Sadly I can not recommend this place .
