Casa Familia Pestana II, a Home in Madeira

Casa Família Pestana 2 is an apartment for two on the upper floor of a restored house, in Seixal, on the north coast — close to a sandy beach and the volcanic pools, in one of the island's most beautiful settings.

The apartment is about 30 m² and comprises a small bedroom with a double bed (150 × 190 cm), a small living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower.

It also includes a refrigerator, a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, bed linen, towels, air conditioning in the bedroom, a heater, Wi-Fi, a TV with international channels and other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The property is near the village of Seixal, on the north coast of the island of Madeira, where there is a sandy beach, natural volcanic pools and some restaurants and cafés.

It is also near Porto Moniz, where there are volcanic ocean pools and other attractions.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurisilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

There are some ruins of old rural houses in the neighbourhood; however, they do not affect the comfort of the accommodation.

The Mercearia Amanhecer grocery shop is 1.6 km away.

A car is recommended; the property has access to the main roads and there is a bus stop nearby.

Parking is possible on the roadside near the property.

Dogs can occasionally be heard in the neighbourhood and the sound of the sea can be intense on rough sea days, which may be noticeable at night.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
