"Clean rooms and some of the most pleasant staff I've ever encountered. Some items changed on the breakfast menu daily which was a lovely surprise. Limited parking but definitely felt safe. The exterior of the hotel definitely needs upgrading but it was a lovely stay. "

"This is not an apartment in Portobelo like the map indicates. It's a house about a mile outside of town and it's a bit rundown. The AC can't keep up with the heat and the entire house has a slight musty smell. I left 2 weeks ago and I still can't get the musty smell out of my CPAP machine. We left early after only 2 nights because the house was so hot and and uncomfortable. The host was great. Very friendly and responsive and he provided great information on local attractions, but he was unwilling to issue a refund for our early departure. "
